Legoland

Round about a year ago, I won four tickets to visit Legoland Discovery Centre at The Trafford Centre, in a competition run by Kip on his blog. As we had just visited last September for Ben's 3rd birthday, we decided to wait till this year. As usual this year has flown by, we intended going over the summer, but with everything that happened it got pushed onto the back burner. However, we eventually set a date for the last Sunday in September, and it was well worth the wait.
My mum came with us, as she has never been. We had a brilliant time, we visited the 4D cinema twice to see the two different shows.

Ben and I ready to watch Clutch Powers!

Our favourite was definitely Clutch Powers, even though we got a bit wet!
We spent quite a while building racing cars and testing them out to see how well they worked in the testing area.

Megs testing cars.
Mr W and Megs car building.

Ready Steady GO!

We had lots of goes on Merlin's Apprentice ride.....

Higher Mum!

And the shooting ride was a big hit too...

What is that face for?????
Both Megan and Ben went on the Lego cars and Ben was delighted as he was tall enough to go on for the first time!

Megan and Mr W spent ages building the perfect Lego tower to withstand an earthquake!

How tall???

We were also amazed by the fabulous lego creations all around...

Who's been eaten now???

Can you spot me and Ben???

We packed so much into the day that we were all shattered on the way home...luckily we live really close so we were bathed and into bed early!
